Pastoral Care Department
The Pastoral Care Department is dedicated to promoting holistic well-being and spiritual flourishing among all members. This is realised through 4 key ministries:
Counselling Ministry provides a compassionate and safe space for members to process their thoughts and emotions while facing challenges in life;
Family Life Ministry is committed to strengthening marriages and equipping parents to building Christ-centred families;
Inner Healing and Deliverance Ministry focuses on spiritual freedom and emotional restoration from past wounds;
Member Care Ministry provides general practical and spiritual support, working closely with the counselling ministry to care for our members.
Together, these ministries oversee the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of the body, offering a safe space where individuals and families can find support, healing, and growth in their faith journey.
Counselling Ministry
The Counselling Ministry provides a confidential, compassionate, and safe space for members facing life’s inevitable difficulties. Our approach integrates with sound counselling frameworks and principles to address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, major life transitions, etc. We offer listening ears aimed at helping individuals and couples gain clarity, develop healthy coping mechanisms, and experience restoration and spiritual growth.

Family Life Ministry
Family Life Matters (FLM) is a ministry of St Andrew’s Cathedral that aims to build Christ-centred families and empower them to grow and journey together.
At FLM, we focus on four areas, namely, Educating, Equipping, Enabling and Empowering (4Es) to help families acquire knowledge on family matters, learn how to apply skills to improve family life and adopt positive attitudes towards family life wellness.
Through various courses and mentorship programmes, we hope to strengthen relationships within and between families, help them to walk closely with God and His Word, and inspire them to reach out to and nurture other families.
Inner Healing & Deliverance Ministry
St Andrew’s Cathedral Inner Healing and Deliverance Ministry invites all who are weary, wounded, or bound to come and receive inner healing and freedom in Christ.
Just as Isaiah 55:1 declares, “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters…”, we believe Jesus offers restoration for every soul longing for wholeness. Rooted in Scripture, guided by the Holy Spirit, and anchored in the love of God, our ministry walks with individuals through inner healing and deliverance, helping them encounter the transforming power of Jesus.

Member Care Ministry
He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah. 40:11
Isaiah paints a beautiful picture of the LORD as a Good, Gentle Shepherd who tends His flock, cares for the lambs and gently leads those with young. We are to emulate our LORD in His care for the Cathedral flock. The Member Care Ministry focuses on supporting members who are facing challenges on various fronts.
