Member Care Ministry
Member Care Ministry
He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11
Scripture paints a beautiful picture of the LORD as a Good, Gentle Shepherd who tends His flock, cares for the lambs and gently leads those with young. Every person is loved, important and a valued member of God’s Kingdom. We are to emulate our LORD in His care for the Cathedral flock. The Member Care Ministry focuses on supporting members who are facing challenges on various fronts. We aim is to journey with people towards wholeness in Christ.
Our vision
Every person salved, secure and significant in Christ, living the abundant life, for the glory of God!
Our mission
To journey with people toward wholeness, by offering the gift of our presence, a listening ear, a compassionate heart; to pray with, give encouragement and practical help for the way ahead, with reliance on God and the help of His Holy Spirit.

- Conduct Courses such as the Spiritual Ageing Course.

Care for the Divorced and Separated
The team runs DivorceCare, a Christ-centred and Word-based programme that offers support and guidance to people on the path of recovery after divorce or separation. It provides a safe place in which others who have had similar experiences come alongside on the healing and restoration journey.
For more information on DivorceCare, check out SAC’s programme for women or visit divorcecare.org. For additional enquiries, email membercare@cathedral.org.sg.

Care for the Sick

We are here to: visit you and pray with you; provide a safe place for you to be heard in confidence; offer support with our presence; and encourage faith and hope in our LORD Jesus.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. Psalm 62:6
