Be-a-Samaritan Course
The Pastoral Care Department, in partnership with Samaritans of Singapore invites all, especially ministry leaders, to get equipped to Be-a-Samaritan.
In 2024, suicide persisted as the leading cause of death among youths (aged 10 to 29), while the suicide rate among adults
(aged 30 to 39) increased significantly. As a church, how can we better support our brothers and sisters who may be struggling in silence?
This course focuses on practical skills to spot early warning signs, respond with empathy, and guide those in distress towards professional help. We can all play a part in creating a caring, compassionate and connected community.
