About CITY Community Services
CITY Community Services is a non-profit organisation and it serves the community by meeting the needs of school-going children from less-privileged and vulnerable families. It is currently serving in 8 primary schools through the Befrienders Clubs.
CITY is dedicated to showing Christian love and providing a safe haven for children to grow in character so that they can live a purpose-filled life. We work closely with schools, volunteers, and partners to create positive impact in the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement relevant programmes which focus on character building and positive values for our beneficiaries.
- Engage students and ensure their safety, discipline, and well-being during programme hours.
- Facilitate activities during annual camps and ad hoc workshops.
- Update database for statistical reporting and prepare post-programme reports.
- Perform other ad hoc projects and duties assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Singaporeans and PRs only
- At least Bachelor of Social Work or its equivalent (e.g., counselling, and psychology).
- A dynamic team player with passion in nurturing children and youths.
- Strong ability to engage children and youths.
- Strong executive functioning skills such as planning, coordinating, organising, implementing, and evaluating.
- Strong administrative skills such as documentation, and report writing.
- Strong communication skills.
