Following Jesus the Anglican Way
Is there more to the Anglican tradition than liturgy? The answer is a resounding yes!
While liturgy forms a core component of the Anglican way, the Anglican tradition also offers other rich resources in its history and theology, which can help to form our discipleship journey. Join us for these two sessions as we listen to stories of faithful Anglicans across generations and learn more about the Anglican identity through both its history and its present life.
The first session will focus on the narrative of God’s extraordinary work in the Anglican Church, accomplished through ordinary believers like you and me. The second session shows us how the Anglican identity today can draw us to love Christ and one another more deeply. Combining information with contemplation, this course will encourage us to let the light of Christ shine more brightly in us.
Speakers
Revd Dr Christopher Chan Vicar
Revd Dr Christopher earned his Bachelor of Divinity and Master of Theology degrees from Trinity Theological College and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. His heart is for discipleship and he desires to see this strengthened in the Cathedral community.
Ms Rebecca Seah Pastoral Worker
Rebecca graduated from Durham University with a Master of Arts in Theology and Religion, with an area of focus in Anglican liturgy and theology. She finds joy witnessing how the Anglican tradition can come alive in our generation, pointing us towards God’s beauty.
