Revd Dr Tan Soo Inn
Soo-Inn Tan is a director of Graceworks, a ministry committed to promoting spiritual friendship in church and society.

Since 1985, Soo-Inn has been journeying with people through his ministry of preaching/teaching, writing and mentoring. Originally trained as a dentist at the University of Singapore, he answered God’s call to go into full-time church-related ministry in 1981 and obtained his Master of Theology from Regent College, Vancouver, Canada, in 1984. In 2006, he obtained his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary, California.

Soo-Inn’s primary passions include connecting the Word of God to the struggles of daily life, and the promotion of the discipline of spiritual friendship. He has been a supporter of Arsenal Football Club since 1971 and his favourite movie is Star Wars 4.

 

Mr Darius Foo (Children’s Programme)
Darius has been serving in church for many years in children and youth ministry. Over the years he started his involvement in numerous camps and programs as a helper and volunteer.

Darius now organizes and runs camps and programs for his own church as well as for other churches when invited. He is a children ministry leader and member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. Additionally he is an active associate trainer with organisations like Bible Society and Scripture Union and as of end-December 2016, he took up the position of co-chairperson of ARISE! Since June 2019, Darius has been appointed as Council Secretary of Scripture Union Singapore Council and a Board Member of Bethel Assembly of God Church since June 2021.

Darius’ professional career path upon graduation from the National University of Singapore, School of Business Administration, lies in the field of financial services, having done sales, product development and business development for various companies. Since June 2018, Darius has taken up the role of Head of Intermediary Business Development at Nikko Asset Management leading a team of 7 people.

Yes, the Children’s Programme will be led by Mr Darius Foo from ARISE! Kids. Children between ages 3 to 12 will be able to join the children’s programme.

Children below 3 years old may join the programme with an accompanying parent at all times.

The Camp Committee will do our best to pair you with a room-mate.

The hotel provides rollaway bed (limited), Connecting Rooms (limited), same floor, high floor, however, all these requests are subject to availability and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. You may put in your request in the “Remarks” field at the summary page before clicking on the button for “Pay @ Church (Offline)”.

Campers are responsible for their own pre-camp or post-camp extension arrangements. We seek your understanding that we are unable to facilitate this.

The camp fees include the accommodation for 3 nights, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches and 3 dinners. The fees are as follow:

• Single: $410
• Twin/triple-sharing: $280
• Child with bed: $200
• Child without bed: $120

Two-way coach transfer is available at $22 per pax.
Families with children taking the two-way coach transfer are required to pay for a seat for their children, except infant-in-arm.

Insurance
All campers are strongly recommended to purchase your own travel insurance upon receiving the confirmation for registration to ensure coverage for any unforeseen circumstances leading up to and during camp.

Visa Application
All campers shall be responsible for any visa application if required.

Registration will only be confirmed upon the receipt of full payment within 3 weeks from the date of your registration or by 31 March 2023, whichever date is earlier. All registrants should complete their payment as soon as possible after registration for the camp.

PayNow is the preferred option for the payment of camp fees. Please indicate the registration reference number (i.e. OFCXXXXXX) in the transaction reference field. Reservation will be released if payment is not made in full by Due Date (see Q2 above).

We encourage all campers to purchase your own travel insurance upon signing up for the camp to cover for any unforeseen circumstances. We seek your understanding that all reimbursement will be reviewed after the camp. Please email camp@cathedral.org.sg

You may choose to self-drive or take the two-way transport by coach ($22 per pax). The coach will leave church on 6 June and back to church on 9 June. The timing will be advised nearer to the actual day. There will be no additional stops made in between.

We are unable to accommodate such an arrangement. The coach transportation provided by the travel agent is based on a 2-way arrangement. You will still have to pay for the full cost even though you choose to take it one-way.

For the safety of yourself and the other campers, please do not come for the camp. Please inform the Camp Committee via email and proceed to inform your travel insurance to make a claim.

To minimize the risk of spreading to other campers, you will be transferred to a separate room for isolation and will not be allowed to join any further camp activities. We will seek the advice of the in-house doctors and advise on next steps during the camp. We seek your understanding on this matter.

Please note that these guidelines may change subject to the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the country.

Please observe and look out for each other to ensure that as a church, we adhere strictly to the national COVID-19 safety measures:

• Even as mask-wearing is removed in most settings, individuals are encouraged to wear masks when in crowded places, or when interacting with vulnerable persons.
• Do not change rooms on your own; this is for your own safety and for easy contact tracing if there is a COVID-19 case that happened in camp.
• Please pack sufficient masks for the duration of the camp and ART kits.
• Please practice personal hygiene at all times.
